Overview

This Payment Policy explains how payments, deposits, and invoicing work when you engage Web Design for Contractors (a Websiteo Plus brand) for web design and related services.

Quotes and Pricing

All pricing is provided in a written quote or proposal based on the scope of work discussed with you. Prices are quoted in US dollars unless otherwise stated and are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote, unless a different validity period is specified.

Deposits

Most projects require an upfront deposit before work begins. The deposit amount and any milestone payments will be outlined in your service agreement or proposal. Work will not start until the initial deposit has been received.

Payment Schedule

Depending on the size of the project, payment may be split into a deposit, one or more milestone payments, and a final payment due before the site is launched or handed over. The exact schedule will be confirmed in your proposal.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment via the methods listed on your invoice, which may include bank transfer, debit or credit card, or other payment processors we use from time to time. Any card or bank processing fees charged by our payment provider are non-refundable.

Late Payments

If a payment is not received by its due date, we may pause work on your project until payment is received. Repeated late payments may result in the project being placed on hold or the agreement being terminated.

Refunds

Deposits and payments for work already completed are generally non-refundable, since they cover time, resources, and materials already committed to your project. If a project is cancelled before work begins, any refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis and outlined in your service agreement.

Additional Costs

Costs for third-party services required for your project, such as domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, stock photography, or paid tools, are not included in our design fee unless stated otherwise, and will be billed separately or passed through at cost.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time. The terms that applied at the time you signed your service agreement will continue to govern that specific project unless we agree to updated terms in writing.
